You can't find a decent house for under $400k in Kentucky where the minimum wage is $7.25 and we only have warehouses, fast food and an airport.. and rent is just as bad $2k for a 3 bedroom apartment. I hate it here.

RI literally pays people 16 - 22 an hour. some jobs only pay 35 hours a week. idk how they expect people to buy houses.

Dude, you’re in RI, there are multi-fams everywhere. Find a 2 or 3 fam, use an FHA loan, put 3.5%, and you’ll have most if not all of your mortgage paid by the rental income.

my parents house was bought at the time when Obama was in seat and around the time when houses was cheap, 2009 my parents house they bought was around 35k. now it's worth 550k 3 floors each has 1 bath and two bedrooms on each floor. 😐😐😐

there's a 1 bed 1.5 bath, 1500 sq ft house, 5000 sq ft lot listed at 375k near me. 2k per month for mortgage. it's wicked bad

My parents bought their 3 bed home in Providence in 1970 for $3k. Sold it in 2015 for $1.5 million. Yup. Taxes alone are ridiculous.
