It is completely true to say that money is not “real” and a social construct. It’s definitely necessary tho as a value of goods and services to function in society, but it gets out of hand when ppl manipulate it to exploit others for their own personal gain. That value system should only exist within the context of bettering society, not benefiting a few others at the expense of society

Money is a social construct, but it’s also the reason you can drive your car on well paved roads to buy Starbucks in the morning. It’s the reason government can exist and, to a larger extent, modern medicine. Paper money was never going to work at the scale of a global economy - there’s too much friction. Not that digital currency doesn’t come with massive drawbacks, it’s just the only way we know that works so far.
