I’m not sure what you guys are complaining about. Lived in my house for 35 years. Tile showers, floors and backsplash. No cracked, stained, or missing grout, and it was never sealed. It’s all about just cleaning on a somewhat regular basis. I’m team tile all the way.

when I built my house we did tile everywhere but the type of tile and the type of grout that we used and the way that we did this it was very very expensive but the grout will never get dirty like you can just rinse the ground off it never ever keeps a stain a color an odor like literally the grout that we use per square foot $180 per square foot of this grout because this grout does not have any problems it's lifetime grout literally it does not crack that's not chip that's not fall apart it does not shrink it does not stain it does not hold water it's basically the best grout money could buy not to mention that the way they do this is they use a resin you like this really high quality clear type resin that especially designed to go on over the grout that's why it's so good

My builder told me these wall panels will leak!! He said think about it. They are putting that against dry wall. And the only think keeping out the water from the wall is a little fine line of silicone sealant 🤪🤪

As a remodel contractor that also worked as a tile installer for several years I never recommend tile even with the absolute best products and install it will still fail and requires constant maintenance

Big Three Builders/B3 Cleaning :
As a cleaner AND a builders wife- hate tile. We just built and no tile. We used acrylic sheets that click. Look like tile, but no grout, no openings, nothing. Seeing if they hold the test of time

I HATE tile showers. So annoying to maintain and all the showers in my new house are with tiles and everyone compliments it but tile maintenance is so bad to deal with. Just give me vinyl alllll dayyyy

I wouldn’t do pvc but I did use porcelain panels in my new build. Same material as tile but in 4x8 sheets. Love it!

It’s a nice idea but personally, I’d rather try to at least minimize where I can plastic in my life, considering micro plastics are even in our blood stream now

I hate grout. I thought the only way to do this was to get full panels of marble or any slabs of any of those other things. now that I know that there's cheaper materials to be able to do this, I'll probably do this
