Also can we discuss that bracing is frequently what ALLOWS PEOPLE TO BE ACTIVE!!! I do think that deconditioning is a genuine concern and we shouldn’t just completely ignore it (but obv it’s a complex topic) but you didn’t say or imply that you were completely sedentary, using a wheelchair full time (which is obv necessary for some ppl!), etc

The muscle tone vs strength differentiation is so important!! …is low/lower muscle tone from EDS (and esp clEDS) a big reason why joints just slip out of place…? You might’ve just given me an epiphany bc I did nottttt connect those dots 🧐
