MORE ON MY JOURNEY ⬇️ During the time of my diagnosis, I was eating a ‘clean’ version of the Standard American Diet. I thought I was making healthy choices by counting calories and choosing the ‘healthier options’ at fast food places, thinking I was doing good!  But what I didn’t realize, was the processed foods, seed oils, processed sugars, artificial colors, preservatives, flavors and the quality of meats  was making a huge impact on my health.  I also didn’t realize the long work hours, sleepless nights, partying, drinking, stress, and emotional pain I was carrying from my father passing, was all building up to create an unhealthy lifestyle where DIS-EASE could thrive.  So for me, making the basic changes of eating more organic fruits and veggies, eliminating seed oils, sugars, dairy and as much processed foods as possible, eating high quality meats - I also eliminated gluten and have seen amazing improvements. This in combination with developing a spiritual foundation with a belief if n my ability to get better, was all I needed to start seeing improvements.  Now, since then, I have tried all the diets out there to see which fit me best.  If you are struggling with seeing change in your progress, after making these swaps,for a significant amount of time.. then thats where more specialized diets come into play.
