They would’ve called Emmett Till a “YN” as the media and people provide reasons why his life justifiably taken. History repeats itself. If we refuse to learn, our children will have the same fate as Peter Pan. Tamir was twelve. Emmett was fourteen. Trayvon was seventeen. Tamir died for playing. Emmett died for existing. Trayvon died for walking. And somehow, the crime was always being Black at the wrong time. Learn about Emmett Till. Learn about the entire situation.
