July weigh in.  I was su bummed seeing my results this month, but I knew it was coming.  I could definitely feel it in my body.  This month I was getting injections in my knees, and was instructed not to work out for a few days after the injections, which meant, having to take Monday off most of the month.  What could I have done differently? I could have worked out Saturday morning to make up for Monday.  I have been slacking on getting my cardio done, which I have no excuse for other than pure laziness.   I also had a sciatica flare up this month which took me out for a few days.  It was so bad I could barely move the first 2 days, and had multiple doctor visits for pain and steroid shots.  I ended up missing 4 days from the gym for this.  Since my sciatica flare up I stopped tracking macros, something I was being very consistent with, and had a hard time getting back into tracking the week after.  So I did notice I was eating more food, eventhough I was keeping it keto.   I also had 3 days of not keeping it keto 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️This month was a big mess.  But from here there are 2 options: 1- I can beat myself up for having a bad month, and let this take me down and give up, or 2- I can look back at how July went, and learn from it, and keep moving forward. Of course I will go with option 2 💕. I may have stumbled in July, but I’m not stopping. Progress isn’t always a straight line—it’s about showing up, even after setbacks, and choosing you every single time. Life threw some curveballs this month, but August is a fresh page—and I’m showing up with purpose, power, and determination. 💪 To anyone else feeling discouraged: you’re not alone, and you’re not broken. We don’t quit—we adjust, refocus, and rise. One choice, one meal, one workout at a time. Let’s keep moving forward. 💥 #julyweighin #fitnessjourney #keto #type2diabetes #mamacita
