@middleeasteye: A group of children on Egypt’s northern Sinai coast have begun throwing plastic bottles filled with rice, pasta, and grains into the sea, hoping the tide will carry them to Gaza. One of the children, Janaat Abdon, said the idea was to send food “from the children of Sinai to the children of Gaza”. The number of Palestinians starved to death in Gaza due to the Israeli-imposed blockade on aid has risen to 122, according to the enclave’s health ministry. Hospitals in Gaza have recorded nine new deaths due to famine and malnutrition over the past 24 hours, the ministry said in a statement on Telegram. The number of those who have died includes 83 children.
