To everyone picking this apart first of all no one is forcing you to make it this way this is just a fun easy different idea to make French Toast. Use whatever brand ice cream you want. Put cinnamon on it if you want. Add more vanilla if you want. Use a different flavor of ice cream. Use your imagination or not. She isn't saying it's cheaper she said it an easy way to make it or you can just stick to doing it with eggs and milk or whipping cream or don't make it at all. It's really not that deep. Lighten up. I think it looks delicious!! 🥰

I accidentally ran across a tip for making French toast. Put the bread in the toaster for 2 minutes, minimum, before soaking in whatever you choose. It's not at all floppy and holds the ingredients so much better.
