the way eve was treated in this movie felt like i was watching a movie from decades ago at times 😭 idk how I'm supposed to find jimmy likeable now that he manipulated a vulnerable and abused woman for information while constantly belittling her behind her back

I don't understand this take, but I'm only seeing a short clip and I don't fully understand the context. Lois is a reporter who famously asks hard questions and plays mind games in order to get a genuine reaction out of whoever she's interviewing so that they can't hide behind their PR training. She's also the only reporter we see in this movie because it is a Superman movie, not a Clark Kent movie. She also is nothing like a MPDG. Ramona flowers is what that trope is, and Lois is nothing like that
