My Mom made 1 green tomato pie. I was about 12 and she told me it would taste like apple pie. It definitely did NOT taste like apple pie. I have never trusted a pie again!😂

Born and raised in the south also. Gen Jones, so I’m old. lol. Never had a tomato pie, so I made one last year to see what the hype was about. It was meh, just okay.
