IMO, it’s the difference between a child playing on the highway and playing on a dirt road. Both scenarios your child is going to be at risk for getting his by a vehicle. One the risk is way higher. Let’s try to minimize the danger for our children!

Even for the simple fact that he can’t condone to being on the internet in this capacity. He is too young to understand and she has taken away his right to choose wether or not he wants to out his image out there for anyone to see

I had a random person "like" one of my photos of my kids on fb about a year ago. no mutual friends, lived hours away from me. I immediately went and private my account and all the picture of my kids. I couldn't imagine posting my kids publicly on this app. it still creeps me out to think about someone I didnt know seeing pictures of my kids and the possibility of what they were doing or why they were looking at pictures of my kids.

the people posting their kids online and defending this type of behavior are probably the same people who would get mad at a stranger for recording them without their consent out in public. these kids can not consent to being posted online.

I’ve posted 2 photos of my son on my private Facebook where all my and my husband’s family and our friends can see. That was on Thanksgiving and Christmas. I haven’t posted a photo of him since. My immediate family and in laws get regular photos of him through text or video calls. I’m doing what I can to protect my son from creeps because unfortunately the internet is full of them.

What you’re failing to address is she doesn’t post videos to a private creepy place she posts them to TikTok where the majority of people on the app are children and normal people just because there is a minority of creep on the app doesn’t mean they should be allowed to sexualize children all you are doing is tell the creeps that it’s not their fault it’s her fault for posting the kid in the first place which is messed up because kids should not be sexualized for existing

Children cannot consent to being put online. They don’t understand, why would a parent or guardian KNOWINGLY allow ppl to be creepy/gross to their kids?? It’s your job to care for them, not exploit them
