Yeah this litterly can’t be true. First off Quantum Computers ain’t something you just build in your garage, you will need an billion+ dollar lab and absolute 0 temp environments and hella expensive equipment. Second off he wrote 7 books but can’t even write a good essay, it can’t be true unless each book was one page long.💔🥀

Quantum physicist here. It’s not hard to believe what the kid did. It took me 2 hours to build a single qubit quantum computer in the basement of my uni in undergrad. I used an NV center diamond with lasers and sensors. No cooling, no nanofab, no materials a high schooler couldn’t get their hands on. It most certainly had terrible coherence and terrible fidelity and couldn’t do anything useful but was a quantum computer nevertheless. Also, running a teleportation algorithm on IBM’s QC is a very straightforward process. It’s something I believe a middle schooler could do. Analogously, it’s the same level of difficulty as coding a for loop or powering an LED.

Let’s not get worried about the fact that they rejected him. They rejected him because this kid already has his life together. He doesn’t need a further education. He built a quantum computer and wrote seven books. College is probably looked at his essay and said this kid already has his life together. Why do we need to further his education?
