I think it’s amazing the food bank is helping feed so many people! However if people can afford petrol to stay in line for that long, plus these fancy cars.. just put it towards food? Why are literally all the cars new and fancy?

I need more info before I judge, but like many in the comments I am really confused about the cars. I understand one need a car to move around in the US, a lot of people in the countryside in here do as well, but they buy an older volvo or something, one time payment, to cut monthly payment before they need foodbanks. I think it's a requirement even.

Imagine you sit a food bank line- comfortably in your (fuelled) car. And there are people in Gaza literally getting killed standing in line for scraps (not evens a proper meal) it’s so scary how this life truly is the hunger games. May those who truly need- receive. May we never normalise this.
