Hemingway. I am a retired Spanish and French teacher and I am also fluent in Italian which is my heritage. I don’t have a favorite. I love every book I have read of his because he has written so much about Spanish and French culture and his experiences in Italy. He also turned me on to bullfighting with Death in the Afternoon, and I took my students to bullfights in Spain after teaching them about the corrida.
