Can you picture a nine yr old discovering Origin of Species in his mother's library? Mom says "Ahhh, let's talk about that." MANY convos over the years! That began 60 years ago. Thanks for the memories young lady!

You didn’t mention Alfred Russel Wallace, who developed a theory of Natural Selection independent of Darwin. His correspondence with Darwin motivated Darwin to publish Origin of Species ahead of Wallace
