I was on serotonin’s and anxiety meds and adhd meds for over 10 years! I kept having to increase there at the end bc nothing was working. I quit cold turkey, it took 2 years for my body chemistry to get back to normal! If you can stay mentally strong with out it, don’t take it!

Can they give you nausea meds to at least help with it? I’ve been on them before. Also my doctor had me take half of the dose for the first week and then go to the full dosage on week 2. This helped a lot with the initial side affects and sickness. I would discuss it with your doctor.

It’s going to be rough for the week but it will be worth it! I take mine at night and that’s better. What dose are you on?

Take it at night before bed. It will upset your stomach for like a week but it gets better and it’s worth it and honestly the good effects started to kick in for us in the first week it was great and we sleep better with it too!!

I used to take mine at night until the side effects subsided. It might take a week or so but it will help you in the long run.

With my second daughter, my doctor told me I should probably take my medication and I was like you I was really against taking it during pregnancy. I wanted to stop, but I am very glad that I didn’t and I would have been on Lexapro. I have gone for a brief periods where I would stop taking it and then start again And every time I start again it does mess up my stomach. What I normally do when I first start is I cut the pill in half because if I start slow slowly, my stomach tends to not have as many issues. I don’t know if that’s an option for you to cut it in half But if you can, I would recommend. But yes, when I first started it back up I have the same type of symptoms as you’re having. I will tell you for me. It was very much worth it because I had severe postpartum depression with my oldest daughter when I had her

Keep taken it. I take it every morning and it made me sick the first couple of weeks. I felt horrible but, it goes away. Give it a chance. I think it will help you with everything you have going on ❤️

I have taken it for anxiety, mild depression and OCD, right before I found out I was pregnant with my third daughter, I took it the whole pregnancy. The dose was increased after I had her because I couldn’t stop crying and worrying. I’m still taking it 13 years later! Life changing!

I always take my antidepressant at night. I tried taking it in the mornings but I had side effects and I just felt like if I took it at night I could sleep through the side effects. I did. It worked for me.
