As a girl with hair down to her waist who hates sleeping with it, get a bonnet if you haven't already! A silk scarf also works. It's mostly about finding something you can tolerate (wide headband styles are comfiest for me). Plus, your hair grows waaay faster when you keep it protected with a bonnet at night.

The "initial shock" of constant acne will be ~3 months when it's really bad, but you will definitely have acne spurts that wouldn't happen normally for a while longer 😭🫶
