The friend said it was okay if her boyfriend came over. cuz why would he just randomly show up at the house when she's out of town. And that friend also has no respect for the roommate. I think the roommate should find somewhere else to go because this is going to be a continuous event.

I trust no one that’s why I don’t have a roommate. After the first time those locks would have been changed. Roommate is out of town and can get her copy when she’s back. This is for all those people that say “oh this wouldn’t happen to me” yes, I can happen to you and with all those red flags, it will happen to you. Most of the time it’s from someone you know. Your friend needs to think safety first and love herself so she will protect herself. Keep a baseball bat handy too.

By the sounds of it, he might have squatter rights at this point. The friend and roommate need to make sure he doesn't receive any mail there and that he's not trying to add himself to the lease behind their backs. Either way, the roommate needs to really consider the relationship as this does not sound healthy l as we obviously dont know what's going on behind close doors.

If your friend doesn't own the house then they need to speak to the landlord. Seek a protective order and move out. You are allowed to break your lease under extenuating circumstances

I wouldn’t say he’s trying to murder anybody, but he definitely has some issues. I would make the roommate leave if she does not break up with him. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
