@karenleighpettit: After losing my own mom way too soon, I always thought I’d have my mother in law, Janice. I never imagined I’d have to lose her too. She was my safe place. My best friend. The quiet strength in my life. Janice wrote everything down…verses, things she loved, lyrics that spoke to her soul. We found so many handwritten gems tucked away in her things after she passed. Little pieces of her heart, scattered like breadcrumbs. But these words… “I asked the Lord to comfort me…” They just seemed perfect. Maybe she wrote them in a hard moment of her own. Maybe she wrote them thinking of someone else. Either way, they felt meant for me. And when I found them, I felt like this is what she wanted me to find. Always pointing me back to God and always wanting to comfort everyone she knew. Now her handwriting lives on my skin. A quiet whisper of her faith, her love, and her comfort… forever. 🤍 Thank you, Kat Oiler @ 1601 Custom Tattooing, for treating this moment with such care. You didn’t just create art, you helped carry a piece of her back to me. I’ll never forget that. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ also, check out her page Kat OilerTattoos
