“You may believe there’s nothing wrong with what you are doing, but keep it between yourself and God. Blessed are those who don’t feel guilty for doing something they have decided is right. But if you have doubts about whether or not you should eat something, you are sinning if you go ahead and do it. For you are not following your convictions. If you do anything you believe is not right, you are sinning.” —Romans 14 : 22 - 23 (NLT) “The faith which you have, have as your own conviction before God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves. But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and whatever is not from faith is sin.” —Romans 14 : 22 - 23 (NASB)

But what's the difference between this and overthinking? If some people say watching tv is bad and some dont. And I dont think it is but overthink and worry it might be then is it not faith or just overthinking?

I’d recommend not using the message translation. It’s not bad to use as a commentary but it was directly translated by one person rather than a group of people.

The message translation is questionable. A great and reliable one for the modern English reader is the NLT or NIV. One should not impose his or her belief in God, this is true (although we should spread the gospel and live out our lives as an example of our faith). However this passage is talking about differences in the beliefs of fellow Christians. That if you freind believes eating meat is a sin then don’t force them to eat meat. If you’re an alcoholic then your Christian friends should not be bringing wine to the dinner party. Context is really important cause while the message in your post may be right, it does discredit the verse and the passage you took it from. But I understand your intention and I’m glad that you’re posting about your faith!

This isn't a good translation Romans 14 is about not making a weaker beliver stumble if he or she struggles with certain things IE a recovering alcohol although not a sin refrain from having alcohol in front of them. And if your implying not to impose your belief than you contradict Mathew 28.

Be aware this is talking about food purity laws. Yes as a general rule Christian’s should judge rightly and judge by the same standard we wish to be judged. (A liar shouldn’t call out a liar lest his lying be exposed) but in this part in Roman’s Paul is having to dela with some people who follow Jewish tradition trying to force non Jews to follow those traditions to be considered Christian. Paul was saying blessed are those who don’t judge by what THEY approve, (but instead it should be based on what God approves)

People saying it’s out of context but it talks about not making a brother stumble, it’s not out of context though, if a brother or a sister has an alcoholic addiction, let’s not drink in front of them, same way, if you know someone is struggling, let’s avoid making them stumble, yes it talks about meat and food but remember that the Bible uses metaphors just like the turn your cheek the other way if someone hits you, this one doesn’t just mean being a pacifist but to not go insult to insult.

This is the message translation, it’s not a literal translation it’s extrapolations of what the translators think it means, rather than what the verse actually says. This specific passage in context is talking about not causing others to stumble based of your convictions being different than anothers. so if you choose to eat something a brother thinks is unclean then you are in the wrong, as even though you may know the truth that nothing is unclean any longer, it’s unclean for those with the conviction of it. So you need to be accommodating to your brothers in Christ so as to help along their faith. It’s essentially reiterating Christs commandment of loving your neighbor as yourself, in an understandable and actionable way. This doesn’t mean in any way that you shouldn’t spread the word, after all go forth and make disciples of all nations is very specific in its command to share the word with everyone willing to listen.
