They should’ve kept the blood off her. We didn’t need it. We didn’t get it when it happened we didn’t need it almost thirty years later. She should’ve appeared to Julie, as a “what might’ve been” sequence if she never died.

forgive me, but we didn’t see Helen Shivers. We saw a sinister version of her from and through a character who never met her. I stand by how great the film was, but a Helen dream would’ve been better served by Julie.
