I was so terrified of all medical intervention, for a while I wanted to just stay and do it in the comfort of my own home! I think it’s beautiful! I was a wuss, though, I eventually went for IV pain meds 😂

As a NICU nurse…the phrase “home birth” or “free birth” literally makes me want to vomit. I have too much PTSD from the things I’ve seen.

hahah. people malfunction when i tell them i had a hands off home birth. risked death? have you seen the death rate for hospital births? i was actually safer giving birth at home. (i had a low risk pregnancy, which is relevant).
