I once made a post on a vet tech subreddit - not even a Disney subreddit - about a hot car death my clinic had dealt with (parents had left it in the car to go to Disneyland) and it ended up as an inside the Magic article within hours. They got the park wrong (said Disney world) and didn’t cite me. They reported it like it was fact, not something a random user posted on a social media site. And I WAS telling the truth, but it’s not like they would know that.
