A cycle that sounds like only started with your mom, but it would’ve been so easy to continue on through you, and then on to your children, and their children, etc. Honey, God is taking your life, your story, and using it for His glory. My mom was co dependent on me as well. I turned into a raging alcoholic after I had to move in with her 2 yrs ago and relived my childhood traumas ( I moved out @16) 79 days away from her, 79 days sober rn ✨

Preach my sister!!! The devil is trying to tear my new believer son down, EVERYDAY! Sadly it has been coming at him from ever direction, truck broke down, “god believers” he is living w/ they are so abusing/using him, lost his job….Ive been praying for grace & favor over him! 12 men stood behind him as he knelt at the alter this am praying for help. Where many are gathered & pray He hears your pleadings son. I love you son and you sweet lady. *side note, I told him he could come back here, but wants to be close to his son. I love this post. I love seeing a regular ole person speak on experience and God. When we were younger, if you were a believer you had to act a certain way. I love that we are to a point where we can accept REAL people that are being the most genuine version of themselves. I was once asked how I can “cuss like that” and say I’m Christian. Well, Christ made me. He put me on this earth for my purpose. He molded me. Me dropping the f bomb had absolutely nothing to do with my relationship with him. He knew he was making a firecracker 🤪 You are a light, you have a purpose. He CHOSE you 🩷 Hugs!

All my life I have suffered with low confidence. Never feeling good enough. Struggled in school, always felt behind everyone else. I started last year growing closer to God. Guess what? He made me realize all that self doubt wasn’t me. It was the devil telling me you aren’t good enough. The devil will beat you down, to keep you from achieving the best you. Why? Because the devil knows if he can keep you down,?you won’t rise to what God has called you for!!! I was made for more and I know that now.
