Says whom? I speak with a few dragons and they do not mind it when I notice that something has changed about them. Whether it be a new scar from battle or a new ornament on their horns. Like people it depends on the dragon.

I was trying to do past life regression a few years ago, i didnt see a past life, i seen a very deep red dragon. I couldnt see the complete vision but it seemed like it was chained or confined and it had a suffering look in its face. I thought it was my brain just running wild but ngl i havent had a vision of a dragon in while, maybe i just wasnt ready to comprehend the vision.

arguably no. perhaps that's your own relationship with them that they don't like complements but I've never had a dragon discontinue working or speaking with me after calling them beautiful. it's not disingenuous or a sign that you're not ready to them.
