I meant to edit my comment and somehow deleted the whole thread. Yes, I’m a lawyer, and I’ve been covering this case. The definition of content creator was narrowed by the judge further than what Lively’s team had suggested in the paper you reference. However it is still broad enough to include people who were provided statements (like the reporters) about their position on the case. It does not conclude when TAG communicated with them, and what the content was that they created as a result.

Contact does not equal conspiracy. And once again, correlation does not equal causation. The court required The Agency Group to list any content creators they communicated with on behalf of or at the request of a Wayfarer party. They named four people. That does not prove a smear campaign. It confirms communication, not coordination, not content control, and not malicious intent. The creator might have reached out to TAG, not the other way around. For example, “Do you have a statement on the lawsuit?” TAG replies with a generic response. That is communication, but it is reactive, not proactive. If there were a coordinated smear effort, it would require actual evidence of directives, payments, or intent. None of that appears in this filing. Speculation is not the same as proof.

Team Justin. As a DV survivor myself, how Blake focused on marketing her alcohol brand and “wear your florals” disgusted me. Several of my friends thought it was a kid friendly movie and took their kids bc of how she presented the movie & they had to walk out. I’m sorry but Blake brought this on herself and she’s always been known as a mean girl to people on every set she walks on.

You can’t have it both ways. Blake either had clips cut out of her talking about DV or she was told by Sony to keep it light hearted. She did not speak for women during her press junket. She did not speak on DV. She did not use her voice to speak out against DV. She is not a perfect victim, nor a victim at all, and she is NOT the one who should be speaking for women on her platform. True victims should be speaking out and she should be using her platform to allow those women to have their voices heard. I do not believe she was sexually harassed but I do believe she may have felt she was; for that, her voice should be heard. Unfortunately, my opinion has always been that BL is a terrible actress, she was awful in IEWU, and she thinks she is Tippi Hedren and this is her Norma Desmond moment.

Gotta give MN credit. She identified the linchpin. Great strategy if your intent is to bury someone. She gives info (doesn't matter if it's true or false) to these four and a million dominoes fall. The victim (BL) is now subjected to DARVO and secondary victimization by social media. JB, BF, MN, JA, JW, JH have buried/destroyed the victim (BL). This is why most victims don't report. This is why the victims of Harvey W and Matt L didn't report. Problem is where most victims break BL did not.
