GOOD. I just lost my kitty yesterday and opted for cremation. I’ve never been through this before and I was worried what happened to him once I left. That video breaks my heart and it’s NOT funny. She doesn’t deserve to work with animals.

Hi, I’m a vet tech! Her video wasn’t funny to the MAJORITY of the veterinary community from what I’ve seen. This isn’t dark humor. I have had to correct coworkers on how they were handling pets after they had passed. I will call them out for it just as quickly as I’d call out mishandling of pets who are alive & well. Your pet WILL ALWAYS be safe and cared for on my watch.

If I took my pet in for a wellness appointment and found out it was euthanized. and I saw a video of an employee from the place I took it to made a video like that. I would be suing, not the business if they took appropriate action against the employee. no, I would be suing the former employee.

It infuriates me as a tech to see someone do that. It’s only going to increase people’s fear about what we “do to their pets” in the treatment area and give people fears about how their pets are treated after death. I hope no one in vet med ever hires her again.
