Why did Cambodia start a war? Cambodia is a small and developing country. We don’t have the powerful weapons like Thailand. We don’t have the money or the power to start a war. Our people, women, children, elders, monks, just want to live in peace. Cambodia has always respected our neighbors. But now we are under attack. Bombs have fallen on our land. Our soldiers and innocent people are dead. Our sacred temples, which are part of our identity and culture, are being damaged. And yet Thailand is trying to control the story. They say Cambodia started the war. But why would we? What do we gain? We are the ones who lost our lives. We are the ones who suffered. Don’t believe everything you see on the news. Look deeper. Ask questions. Cambodia is not the attacker, we are the ones who are being attacked.

Justice for Cambodia 🇰🇭 There no reason for a smaller country weaker economic like cambodia to invade thailand territory and also cambodia tried to resolve this through the ICJ ,based on past rulings that already confirmed its sovereignty over temple areas. Thailand refused, rejected the legal process, and instead moved troops and barbed wire into disputed land. That’s not “defense,” that’s provocation. On July 24, both sides claim the other shot first ,but when one side avoids court and escalates militarily, it’s clear who’s undermining peace. Cambodia acted in self-defense.
