Just to let you know, teachers are asking for $.99 notebooks 50 Cent box of crayons 50 Cent glue sticks two dollar binders three dollar maybe scissors. It’s not absolutely insane.

Composition notebooks are 50 cent at Walmart and spiral ones at 45 cents at Walmart.dollar general has 3 boxes of crayons for 1 and 2 rulers for 1 dollar. Walmart has 50 cent plastic folders 😭😭😭but hey what do I a 2nd year teacher know

I find it rude how many parents only think about the cute baby to toddler years when they plan to have kids then get mad at the added expense that comes with them as they grow up and also how they want their kids to be good in school then put no type of effort in their learning acting like the teacher is just gonna upload the information into their brains

There is so many people out here. Do not want to buy their kids school supplies if they’re broke just say that I fill up a backpack every year and send it with my daughter and the teacher gets the supplies period

It’s the attitude from parents that teachers are sending out these supply lists for personal gain. Like those supplies do something for that teacher instead of being literally FOR THEIR CHILDREN, damn.

This!! They complain about this yet can’t even get up to vote in their local elections to ensure their schools stay open to get funding and free lunch, then they’ll say “you don’t get to have an opinion if you don’t have kids” meanwhile I’m out there voting to ensure their schools stay open, their kids get food and they get educated because education is lacking in this country full of oligarchs
