In the initial engagement, four Rafale jets, along with a Sukhoi Su-30MKI, a MiG-29, and a Mirage 2000, were involved, totaling seven aircraft. During the final event, another Rafale was airborne, likely piloted by Squadron Leader Shaqaangi Singh. Additionally, approximately four Rafale jets were destroyed on the ground. Almost a full squadron of Sukhoi Su-30MKIs was also lost, bringing the total estimated Indian Air Force (IAF) jet losses to between 25 and 27. The full truth, supported by evidence, will emerge over time. The loss of 3-4 Rafale jets is widely acknowledged, yet India is denying Dassault (French manufacturer) access to investigate – likely due to the severity of these losses.
