throughout all of recorded history women worked, they just werent properly compensated. they made clothes, they farmed, they processed food, they cleaned, they were healers and midwives, they crafted tools rugs and jewelry etc. only the wives and daughters of the very wealthy could afford to sit and do nothing all day and they still would look for ways to occupy their times by doing charity work or financing artists or getting involved in politics. Women constructed civilisation as much as men.

also these same women belittle SAHMs a lot when they portray it as "getting taken care of". being an SAHM is gruelling, thankless work, especially when you operate in a patriarchal household. these are the same women who cook and clean for husbands and inlaws freshly postpartum. or those who can't even properly enjoy holidays because they're expected to host, cook, cater and take care of everyone. they do all of this, just for people to belittle their labor, their husbands to call household income as "his income", and for wannabe tradwives to call their lifestyle pampered and lazy.

i study prehistory at masters level and people have imposed gender constructs on people so far back they didn’t even have language 😭 women DID in fact do a lot of hard work and kept fit from doing it

Sure i think most people get stressed and annoyed w their job but being unemployed is sooo much worse, i start procrastinating and get bored all the time, let myself go, it’s horrible. Having something to work for and plan for is much healthier.

I get the point however most modern jobs ( especially office ones) are not that fulfilling, humans aren't meant to sit on a desk for almost the whole day and just wait for their paycheck to be satisfied. I believe that the anger should be direct towards capitalism that skewed the veiw on what satisfies men and women. Also being a mother SHOULD be considered a job but in this system is not as appreciated
