kinda short explanation there's a better one if your search 227 incident on tiktok but: basically both of the actors for the untamed basically got famous from the untamed, and the untamed is based off of a novel with these two characters being together, however due to Chinese censorship, it had to be a "bromance" in the drama, however this created 3 sides of the fandom, the people that were there to support both actors, then there was a fandom for each actor, xiao zhan and yang yibo. This created drama due to toxicity in the fandom and homophobia essentially the fans from each side wanted to separate the pair and it grew to a point where there were like reports to China and eventually xiao zhan had to apologise for his own fans doings, China basically banned them from seeing eachother ever again so they aren't allowed to meet. This is so sad tbh because they became very close friends from the drama its like not being allowed to see your own friend ever again 😭😭

I FINISHED WATCHING IT GUYSS, I STARTED YESTERDAY. and yes. I did fast forward. I did NOT care about the clan leader part and I understood fully. but I WILL be rewatching since I need to FULLY grasp the love 😭😭🥰🥰
