For the best low-light performance, use ISO 640 in moderate darkness and ISO 12,800 in very dark conditions. All these clips were shot at 12,800. • Frame Rate and Shutter Speed: For smoother and cleaner low light footage, shoot at 24fps or 30fps with a shutter speed of 1/48s (for 24fps) or 1/60s (for 30fps). Lower frame rates allow more light into the cameras sensor. • Find Ambient Light Sources: Look for streetlights, neon signs, or car headlights to naturally illuminate your subject. • Use Manual White Balance: Auto white balance can struggle in low light, leading to color shifts.
