Replying to @Brit 🫶 Part 2 of Turning this baby girl 🥰 Steps I did: 1. Set a strong foundation from the start with pelvic & ribcage mobility warm-ups before workouts. These exercises are already integrated into my pregnancy programs! 2. Made regular visits to a prenatal massage/structural specialist throughout my pregnancy to help maintain proper alignment as baby has grown. 3. When I discovered she was still head up around 28 weeks, I began doing more daily inversions (spinning babies) and increased mobilization work for my ribcage and pelvis. These exercises are excellent for pain management and helping baby move into LOA (Left Occiput Anterior), which is the optimal position for birth. They're valuable to continue even after baby turns head down. She flipped after I did a 2-minute dead hang. While hanging isn't possible for everyone, many other exercises can accomplish the same goal! The key to success with all these ribcage mobility exercises is proper diaphragmatic breathing. Focus on achieving a full 360-degree expansion, especially directing your breath into the side being mobilized. Other options to consider: 1. Bodywork support: Chiropractors & massage therapists can help create space in your pelvis & ribcage. I would have seen my massage therapist at 34 weeks if baby hadn't turned. She successfully turned Siah for me! 2. Homeopathic care 3. ECV (External Cephalic Version) 4. Home birth: If this aligns with your preferences, find a confident and knowledgeable provider experienced in breech delivery. Remember, if baby isn't turning, it often indicates there's still some restriction preventing the flip. Finding someone to help can ease both physical constraints and your peace of mind! 🫶🏽 #breechbaby #breechbirth #spinningbabies #pregnant #pregnantlife #pregnanttiktok #pregnancytiktok #pregnancyjourney #pregnantlife #pregnantbelly #fitpregnancy #laboranddelivery
