🤣Between Aug 11 and Feb 17. So I have time. I only have 12 pending requests for other ones. I have made myself a promise to not request anymore for a while. I need a break to read my books that stare at me in disappointment.

it's all about the mood! I think I have 78 on it right now. but I will also reread when I know i will be somewhere noisy. ADHD Dyslexic. also have 40 audio book purchased I have not done yet cuz I'm not in an audiobook mood last few months. lol

Are we talking "physical" TBR of books I already own? Including all the classics I have as eBooks, I think somewhere between 200 - 300. Or are we talking all the books that are on my TBR on StoryGraph (aka all the books I want to read but don't necessarily own)? Than right now the number is 1072 🫣 I read an average of 50-60 books per year, so uhm ... yeah ... it'll take me a while ... especially since I keep adding books to it 🫣😅 As for how I decide what to read next, a lot has to do with what I'm in the mood for and sometimes I need an external incentive to read books from my (physical) TBR, despite wanting to read them anyway. So I joined a few reading challenges on StoryGraph and try to only add books to them that are already in my TBR and since I really want to finish each challenges before it's over I am finally reading some books I had wanted to read for ages but for some reason never did 🤷🏼♀️

I'm afraid to count my TBR because I'm very susceptible to the freebies authors occasionally offer. It's a long list🫣 and I choose by mood so some have been waiting a long time already 😬

physical books about 10. picking physical books is to not go to book stores til I have finished at least 1 physical book. audiobooks is a sliding scale, about 30 and growing right now.

My TBR is just over 2650 books. These are physical, digital and audiobooks that I physically possess. I just wander past or scroll through to see what strikes my mood. in between my ARCs of course.

Triple digits lol. All sitting on my kindle. I usually read 5-6 a time, an arc or two, a re read, a horror and a fantasy so I have something for whatever mood I’m in that moment. I just went through a slew of really not great ARCs, so I’m taking a break from them to read some stuff I have really been wanting to get to.

@Bri: I have no idea because I track it. I have a “TBR“ list on Libby, I have books that are already on hold on Libby, I have Netgalley, and I have bookshelves. I’m very much a mood reader, so it’s what I feel like. If I had to guess, it’s hundreds. I just looked and have 52 holds, 313 on my TBR this, probably a hundred on my shelf, and on any given day what I’m reading is not part of any of these things. :-)
