even though i had only finished the game a few months ago, i used to love the characters (even though i never watched any play throughs or anything) when i finally played, i chose pacifist. i’m glad i did. i genuinely started crying. one of the greatest games ever

I am genuinely crying rn after writing the message there UT is really the most important game in my life, not because it's the best or smth. It was just there at the right time of my life, and now I would be a completely different person without it. Undertale OST was my actual introduction to music and songwriting in general, I tried many things I love today because of this game. I wouldn't know any of the friends I have today if it wasn't for Undertale and it's great community I know I'm writing this thing in a tik tok comment section but I just hope that maybe someone will find this and maybe smile, because UT changed not only me, but thousands and maybe even millions of people. Thank you all the fellas in UT community for being the best for almost a decade❤️

im so sad coz i see everyone wrote very meaningful things but when i saw the question "what does undertale mean to you?" i just typed "Everything" and now i wish I could redo mine and write that without this game i would literally be dead or smthg i want toby to know he literally saved my life [tears]

Well since the flower is closed i wanna mention the story here. I discovered undertale around the time my father passed away. And i had a lot of family troubles and had to go from house to house. Life seemed like “nothing could get worse” until i discovered undertale. Genuinely somehow it made me pull a genuine smile. A feeling i can’t describe. A joy id never feel again. A smile i couldnt stop smiling. A time where i felt alive again when I thought im a souless body. The game that managed to make me cry but happy tears. The game that managed to make the kid me feel like its never over for u. The game that would make kid me listen to its music to ease off pain and anxiety. The game that made me realize that life could be bad. But its never over. U could always find the chances to make ur life feel great. I could go all day. This game means everything to me. Id do anything to relive those times where i first did the good ending. Where id look at the end sunset smiling nonstop.
