My vet said glass is actually better than the metal. I had a large glass water bowl, until a dog kicked it and it shattered, it they eat out of small glass dishes. Went back to a metal water bowl.

It’s a great fountain but my two cats have multiple times drank all the water in the bowl before the 3hrs :,) so I wish the bowl was bigger. Bought two weeks ago :)

I have this one with the plastic bowl, and none of my six cats have any issues with acne. just saying!

I gave mine away, it's not wide enough for my cats, they like much wider bowls and fountains, they might steal my water, but yeah, this was a no go.

I bought it. My only complaint is it does not sound the alarm for when the wastewater is full. And it just pushes the lid off and then quits working.

I love mine and think some times I need one more. But I have a smart kitty and she knows how to dump the water. By standing on it or just putting two paws on top. 😳😂
