Fu Cong, China's permanent representative to the United Nations, responded to a statement made by the U.S. delegation at an open meeting of the Security Council on cooperation between the UN and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. "If the United States truly cares about Muslim human rights, why has it turned a blind eye to the living hell in Gaza? Why does it ignore the historical injustices suffered by the Palestinian people?” he said.
