I think there's a very good possibility that the prophesied falling away of Christians will be due to the perceived abandonment and no rapture and having to endure the tribulation.

Tribulation or birth pangs of messiah so if you are caught up in Judaism it means you aren’t ready or strong enough in faith

the last chapter of 2nd Peter warns us about misunderstanding the letters of Paul. Read and Do what it says.

hey I would like you to expound on the holy spirit being the oil because we know the Commandments are a lamp and the law is a light which explains the lamps of the 10 vergins and the oil

The point is moot. Concentrate on loving God with your whole heart, soul, mind and body and your neighbor as yourself. Whatever else happens…happens.

Can you source where you got the information that harpazo was added to scripture because I have searched for anything that proves what you claim and I cant find any evidence.

I have never completely understood this rapture teaching either. Rev 1:1 says these things will shortly take place. The whole book of Revelation is a book of Gods redemptive plan. Only one I know that brings curses to the earth. His name is not Satan but he sends these plagues because men will not repent. 2 Chron 7:13, 14, Malachi 4:6. We are scattered all over the earth and his word has gone out to all the earth. Men are without excuse.

My use of the Anglo-Saxon demon title of “God” is left uncorrected in the quote, since it’s their words not mine

These folks are so lazy. It’s an easy search: Q: “Who invented the rapture theory and when?” - A: “The rapture theory, specifically the idea of a pre-tribulation rapture where believers are taken to heaven before a period of tribulation, is most closely associated with **John Nelson Darby**, a 19th-century Anglo-Irish preacher and founder of the Plymouth Brethren movement. Darby developed and popularized this concept in the **1830s** through his teachings and writings, particularly through his dispensationalist theology, which divides history into distinct periods of God's dealings with humanity. The idea gained traction after Darby’s teachings were incorporated into the **Scofield Reference Bible** in 1909, which helped spread the concept widely among evangelical Christians, especially in the United States. While some elements of rapture-like beliefs existed earlier in Christian thought (e.g., in the writings of Puritan theologians like Increase Mather in the 17th century), Darby's formulation was distinct and became the foundation for modern rapture theology.”

Interestingly the idea of a catching up comes up in Judaism for those who aren’t ready for the truth

This is the closest thing to what you are claiming. "In conclusion, while the Greek word "harpazo" has ancient roots, the theological doctrine of the pre-tribulation rapture is a more recent development within Christian thought, emerging around the 19th century." We receive revelation as we get closer to the end. So just because you understood it one way doesn't make you right 😉 Jesus also doesn't like public rebuke like this either. Maybe you should've reached out privately?

harpazo (the Greek word) *is* there ... 1 Thess 4:17, Acts 8:39, 2 Cor 12:2-4, Rev 12:5, the *only* disagreement here is how it is used / what it means absolutely right, though, that it's a lie that you aren't saved if you don't believe in the rapture. pre-trib is totally unnecessary theology. however, Jesus *is* coming back, and if not pre-trib and if not mid-trib then post-trib rapture is a minimum, spoken of all over both old and new testament, that Jesus will return and resurrect the dead. the rest of us who live will be *caught up* (harpazo) to join them.
