LOL I gave my dog her painkillers with cheese after her surgery and now she is suspicious of cheese 🧐 she loves cheese, so this is a tragedy.

I had a GLUTTINOUS beagle basset mix, I didn't need to trick him for his pills, he was just so happy i was giving him something 💀 never traumatized, never wary, just greedy 😂😩

my dog has learned the noise of her pill bottles so she gets very excited bc she knows she's getting a treat. unfortunately whenever we're grabbing human meds she gets excited for nothing

I made the same mistake. Trazadone is VERY bitter to dogs so I don’t mix it in the food anymore. I give it in hotdogs.

The trick is to give him some without. Give him the piece with and IMMEDIATELY follow it up with a piece without. 🤣 I have two chihuahuas that smell it on my fingers and immediately spit it out. That’s the ONLY way I can get them to take pills.

We just started forcing in pills (gently putting in her mouth and shooting a churu stick in after to get her to swallow lol), because otherwise she assumed everything we were giving her was poisoned and wouldn’t take her meals or treats 🙃
