I meant he was the first black guy in that community.. Had his own house built Late 60s Early 70s. Jpd arrested him for nothing which was all whites back then, Took him to jail to Unalive him is the #1 story out there... His wife stayed there until she died due to stress... he told her don't sell his house when he was alive before he went to jail.if she do nobody would be able to stay there. THE MAN And WOMAN GHOST STILL IS THERE FROM WHAT I FELT BUT THEY ARE HARMLESS GHOST BUT THEY ARE MAD AND CANT REST UNTIL THE TRUTH IS OUT. MAYBE IM THE ONLY PERSON THAT CARED ENUFF ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THIS HOME 🤷

Every since I was a little girl, they said the house was haunted and about 40+ years. Irritating somebody purchased that house and live in about less than a month. It always stay vacant.

Go on the opposite side of State Street where those Victorian Houses are, if they still there and I was in the halfway house back in 96 and we had a contract to work on it couple of them and you talked about haunted, my crew left me and I just went outside until they pulled back up hours later.

I’ve also heard that when it was built no insurance company wanted to cover this home because the owner was black and by the grace of God it never caught fire

Wlbt news gave a news report on this house years ago for got how long check it out they may have some info on it.,i have walked through the house it doesn’t seem haunted to me,i live around the corner from it.pass by it everyday sometimes.

it's not haunted, just has foundation and other problems. people buy the house and never stay long because of all the problems with it. needs to be completely torn down and rebuilt.

The gentleman was black and his wife was also. The wife look like a white woman. White people did not want the family living there. Remember that was between 1960-1970.
