Not for the weak. Thankfully, my body said “bet” and started healing faster than expected, so yeah, I’m grateful… but I’m also TIRED. Learning to eat with prosthetic teeth feels like chewing with Legos superglued to my gums. Textures are weird. Flavors hit different. And now that my swelling’s gone down, guess what’s decided to pop up? Sores. From the rubbing. Because apparently healing can’t be too easy, right? And yes—I had a few bites of a damn snack wrap yesterday. No, it wasn’t grilled like the good ol’ days. The fried one? Tasted like a throwback and trauma mixed into one. Crunchy, greasy chaos. Delicious, but disrespectful to my denture journey. 😤 On the bright side—this full-mouth extraction is really keeping my Bariatric goals in check. Down to 102 lbs, which sounds cool until you realize I now have the upper body strength of a damp paper towel. But don’t worry—I’m buying more dumbbells and I’m back on my walking pad every day. Twice a day if I’m feeling especially feral. 🐾 Every. Day. Is a battle. A lesson. A mess. But I keep showing up. With sore gums, weird meals, and plastic teeth I’m still trying to make peace with. Trust the process? Yeah, I’m trusting it… with a side of sarcasm and stubbornness. @HotspringsAffordable
