I was "screaming" with every contraction. They told me to stop screaming, I was scaring the other women. So then, my baby was STUCK because of her shoulder, and they're like, you need to push hard now! I said, then I need to scream! F-ing let me do my thing!

The grunting I grunt when I pushed with my youngest came out and I made my nurse and doctor laugh 🤣🤣 I got so tired and all I remember is saying "It's been 2 hours his head is too damn big, get the vacuum" I think my nurses like my blunt honesty. A good OB and nurse team sit there and support you with laughter no matter how "unprofessional" you seem in that moment. Bad ones make you feel like you're doing something wrong by exploiting your flaws during a birth. ❤

the doc with my first child (unmedicated birth) told me to "try and not make any sound...no grunting" she claimed you can't push as hard making sounds... I pushed harder with the grunts ..I sounded like I was playing tennis 😂

🤣🤣🤣 the ob would be like 🫣 if someone told me to be quiet if I could id leap off that bed and yell at them but id be saying some things that aren't pretty

when i wanted an epidural my nurse wouldnt listen instead she said "oh well i wouldnt reccomend it i had all 3 of my kids with no drugs and you will be fine just push through it" and blah blah blah finally after another agonizing 3 hrs i was like ok i need one now and than all snarky shes like "well idk how long it will take them to come up and do it, it will prob take hours goodluck" thank gawd another mama was getting on cuz i got it 15 min later

I got told to be quiet while crowing and also told I was making the anesthesiologists life "miserable" while contracting while he was placing the epidural! 😫

My nurse told me to “calm down” during labor and my TWO epidurals didn’t work. She also said, “women do this everyday, you need to relax”

I’d tell them to get out my delivery room cuz that happened to me when I was younger. She was like there’s other people in the maternity world. You need to be quiet and I don’t know why you’re being so dramatic you’re not even dilated but 2 cm. i cursed her out

id only accept the "shh" from my husband cuz in my mind hes telling me to breathe. if its anyone else or if its him shushin me cuz im being too loud then some words will be said

I was so loud during my birth with my daughter and it was 1130pm. I cared so much after the nurses were like you did the damn thing girl who cares
