This falls under "know your worth". I am certified to the gills in my field with almost 20 years of experience. To be fair, what I do is very niche, but I know I'm good. I don't even get out of BED for what other people charge. Know what I drive? A 10-year-old beater. Why? Because the $500+ monthly payment I'd be making on a new car (that loses value as soon as it leaves the lot) is going into an account for my kid instead. Plus I never worry about people sideswiping me if they try to push over in a zipper merge. Go ahead - hit me with your Beamer, buddy 😂 What you drive says ZERO about your income.
