I also didn’t grow up being forced to go to church, but chose it. I found that I don’t need a man( with his own agenda) in a church( or a book), telling me how to act or believe. The info is already in my heart. Ironically, Jesus is an amazing role model. I wish more Christians emulated his life. ❤️

Time INs are way more effective than time outs. There’s nothing wrong with needing space when your emotions are out of whack, time outs don’t teach you how to feel and deal with your feelings. It teaches you when you have feelings, no one will be there with you

I too went to church occasionally with friends as a kid and always felt unsettled every time I went. And I agree love withdrawl is wrong.
