I work in banking. if your account is frozen from fraud, we open another account and transfer funds. the only time this doesn't happen is if the account holder is scamming.

Same thing happened to me and I Only had to go into bank with my ID and speak with the fraud dept to initiate a claim. At that point, I withdrew all my money in a cashier’s check and I took my money to a different bank.
