𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙮 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙅𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙉𝙔𝘾 👇🏻 This was my third time at @Ozakaya and I swear every time I go, my experience there keeps getting better. There hasn’t been one bad dish I’ve had there. Their hokkaido uni is so fresh and buttery. The kaishin don is my number one recommendation for those of you that want to try their uni. I love this bowl because it also comes with ikura, minced toro and sheets of seaweed paper so you can make the perfect hand rolls. I’ve tried almost every single item on their summer special menu and my favorite on that menu is definitely the A5 wagyu hot stone but honestly you can’t go wrong with any dish! Their fish quality is 💯. I always get one roll here and this time I tried the ozakaya roll which was a 10/10 (also highly recommend their sake kani roll). From their hot kitchen menu, this time I ordered their unagi (grilled eel) bowl and it really surprised me. It was so good - perfectly cooked and they give you a lot of eel which I loved. 🍽️: Kaishin Don: Hokkaido uni, minced toro, ikura, and chive over rice with a side of nori Uni Toro Caviat Monaka: minced fatty tuna, spicy cod roe, onion, and caviar with mochi wafers Uni & Scallop Ceviche: hokkaido uni, scallop, chive, micro shiso, lime zest with yuzu soy dressing Unagi Don: grilled whole eel with eel sauce, sansyo with side of pickle Ozakaya Roll: eel, mango, topped with bluefin tuna, salmon, avocado, eel sauce, spicy mayo, crispy tempura flakes and tobiko Wagyu Hot Stone: steak grilling platter with sliced A5 wagyu beef served with yuzu kosho, truffle salt, wasabi, and wagyu fried rice **also if you’re in the area I recommend checking Prospect Park which is only a 10 minute walk from ozakaya. it’s a great way to walk off all the food 😬 #nycfood #nycfoodie #brookylneats #nyceats #nycrestaurants #japanesefood #prospectheights #bestfoodnyc
