Like session 2 one of the guys in one of my campaigns tried to bargain with the bbeg to eat one of our party members to let the rest of us go but I was the only one that could under the language, so 2 sessions later I cut his head off

dmed for a group that was consistently late, never communicated, and hardly participated when i gave numerous chances for them to(AND had countless conversations asking if there was anything i could do to improve the game for them, to absolutely no avail. they gave me zero input and repeatedly told me the sessions were fun). i felt bad for the couple of people who were actively interested and involved so when we started playing again for the summer the problem players conveniently went separate ways from the party. the vibe has improved and now the plot actually progresses:))

My childhood friend and I developed our D&D crew over 15 years and it's been smooth sailing since then. Every week same time, no randomly missing sessions, no murderhobos, heavy roleplaying with excellent builds. If this group falls apart I'm quitting TTRPGs because no group will ever measure up to it

My first campaign, had a coworker invite me into his friend group, and I really liked everyone. Not long after, said coworker found out I was recently single, and made a move that I rejected. Then he started harrassing me, irl and in session. DM asked me to leave bc our “conflict” was making everyone uncomfy. He said he didn’t wanna kick my coworker out bc then the rest of them would “all have to deal with him” when he got upset.

This hit home 🤣 we now have one or two shot campaigns to start and see which players we like and which we don’t and all the ones that get along will get to go to the main campaign and the ones and the ones that didn’t make it get side stories till they learn to be better…we also hold a vote 😅
