@kristinarteaga: The amount of people who pretend to know the difference is mind-boggling and sometimes exhausting #diabetes #type1diabetes #jdrf #juvinilediabetes #t1d #t1dmom #mom #moms #momlife
Thank you for the education I didn’t really know the difference between the diabetes 😅😅😅

If you don’t mind me asking, were there any “warning signs” prior to his diagnosis that you noticed? My daughter is struggling with processing foods/spitting up and I’ve been researching lots, so just curious!

My son was diagnosed last year at 12 years old, this is sooo true it’s not even funny 🙄 also the amount of people who work in schools (nurses/ administrators ect.) that aren’t educated on it is very scary

I’ve been pre-diabetic for years because of my medical condition and when I was talking to an old coworker about after he was diagnosed…he decided diabetes was contagious and he either got it from me because of my stepdad or another coworker who was type 1. Couldn’t convince him otherwise. 🙈

It’s actually scary how many medical professionals know little to nothing about T1’s and how we are completely different than type 2 diabetics. The amount of times I had to explain I did not have gestational diabetes when I was pregnant was alarming and scary. And also why I didn’t need to take the gestational diabetes test because I was already a type one diabetic and literally drinking that much sugar would put me in a coma.🙈. Dont forget to have your son eat cinnamon. It will cure him 💪😂
